Coup de coeur #2 💜
Things I liked this month
– The Belline oracle by Grimaud: a birthday present, probably my most beautiful oracle! Here’s a Belline made by a master cartier (yes, it’s a craft), all finesse and elegance. With a much softer energy and design than the original set, which can be off-putting at first with its crude and unattractive illustrations, I use it when I want to make a more subtle print. For card fans, Grimaud also offers a Tarot de Marseille edition.

I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners, however, as it lacks important symbols when using this oracle. Don’t stop Don’t let appearances fool you, Belline is an incredible game!
– “Comme par magie” Elizabeth Gilbert: written by the author of “Mange, prie, aime”, this book explores creativity as a living energy, accessible to all. I find her approach to “ideas”, which seek a channel (us) to exist in matter, very interesting. And if we’re not receptive, this idea will find someone else!
But my main takeaway from the book is this: create absolutely, do it, do it even if you’re not 100% satisfied, do it even if you doubt it, do it even if you’re scared and don’t think it’s perfect. Then release your work (your book, your training, your drawing, your idea…) into the world, without getting attached to the result. Whether it succeeds or not is out of your hands.
Your only mastery is the very act of creation!
