Cutting energy ties

Cutting energy ties

Essential practice for conserving energy

Working as a companion means being in constant contact with the energy of others, and the subtle exchanges that are created throughout the day. These energetic links can drain our vitality if we don’t take the time to cut them regularly.
Whether you work in the wellness or medical fields, or are simply sensitive to the energies of others, it is essential to free yourself from these ties to avoid exhaustion and preserve your emotional balance!

✂️ Cutting techniques

1. Energy scanning

Move your hands a few centimetres from your body, from the top of your head to your feet, imagining that you’re removing energy ties that are attached to you. Shake your hands afterwards to release accumulated energy.

2. Visualization

Ask your system to show you all the links that are sucking you in. Close your eyes, and imagine energy threads running from you. They may appear to you as chains, ropes or fishing lines…. Wherever they go, just concentrate on the ones that come from you. Visualize a pair of golden scissors or a sword of light cutting these threads. Take a deep breath.

3. Invoking the guides or Archangel Michael

If you are sensitive to working with guides or archangels, you can ask Archangel Michael (“the one who cuts”) to cut all unnecessary energetic links with his sword.

5. Clear verbal intent

You could also simply state the following intention out loud:“I am cutting all unnecessary energy links here and now, and recovering all my energy.

🌙 When and how to integrate this ritual?

✅ After each session: a simple sweep or intention may suffice.
✅ At the end of the day: a deeper visualization enables an energetic reset.
✅ After an intense interaction (conflict, emotionally-charged exchange): taking a few minutes to cut ties helps to avoid remaining imbued with the other person’s energy.

💡 Cutting ties doesn’t mean cutting love or kindness!

It’s simply a way of preserving your energetic integrity.
